Clint Adams finds himself drawn to a poker tournament being held in Central City, Colorado. The high stakes game has also drawn the likes of Bat Masterson and Veronica Belmont, also known as Lady Poker. With big money on the line, who knows who else might be attracted to the scene?  Other members of the poker elite would be gunmen who would like to add the Gunsmith to their notches, and—oddly enough—theater people from the East, looking to bring eastern entertainment to the West. But when things take a turn for the worst, it's up to the Gunsmith to bring things to a satisfactory finish.
