The Fight Backs

How many times do we make an opinion on people just by their outer appearance? How many times has our perception been based on the bundles of information we get from our sources or from mainstream media? How many times have we felt we were wrong about a particular person or event?

The Fight Backs is about the battle within, fought ‘inside’ by every individual for the elusive redemption and that little chance to get real happiness. This is the story of how a little girl, Umeed, becomes the hope for the protagonists and how perceptions and impressions are shattered as reality unfolds.


The story, set in the backdrop of the unfortunate Muzaffarnagar Riots of 2013 with love – jihad suspicion as its trigger, is an emotional tale with love at its core. The Fight Backs portrays the positive life-changing journey of the protagonists whose inner struggles lead to spiritual awakening. The story eventually immerses itself in spirituality.


The characters of The Fight Backs are all inside and all around us. We just have to observe them without the past and often misconceived prejudices.
