Ten years ago USAF Special Agent Cleo North ignored her gut instinct - and a young sergeant wound up brutally murdered. Now a civilian, Cleo is finally in a position to find out what went wrong.


She’s certain the official story - a murder/suicide is wrong. Now she has a new assignment in her civilian capacity working with Special Agent Jack Donovan to discover the truth. Unfortunately, the assignment involves providing personal protection for an obnoxious, publicity seeking movie star whose latest film has sparked fury from ultra-right hate groups. 


As Cleo plunges into a tangle of violence and lies, she must quickly decide who the real victims are - and who’s covering up that first deadly mistake.
