Theo Decker, aged thirteen, is left alone in the world after surviving a catastrophe that kills his only close relative - his mother - and tears him away from everything he knows. The goldfinch

What a huge satisfying, "hard to put down" novel of one young mans journey to find a connection to family after disaster. With a background of the arts and antiques and a moving story line, I highly recommend this excellent read.
