Skye Fargo’s making his way back east to St. Louis when he comes across a horrible sight on the Nebraska prairie—a burning cabin, and an entire family shot execution-style and laid out. He soon learns that there’s a killer on the loose—smallpox. But there’s someone out there worse than the disease. They’re called night riders, and they’re out to make sure that anyone with smallpox—and those near them—don’t live long enough to spread the illness.
