Three and a Bit & Triumph

'Go on then.

You're sure you want to?

I want to see if you can because I'm sure you can't.'

Has Dex met a conjuror with something up his sleeve – or something much worse?

What did Pete do to afford a second-hand robot?

Dance with Uncle, or what might happen to you?

And… a day that can only get better.

Four biting and brilliant plays by Caryl Churchill, performed together at the Almeida Theatre, London, in 2027, under the title Three and a Bit, directed by James Macdonald.

This volume also includes Triumph, a short play based on Suetonius's The Twelve Caesars: a grim joke about where we are today. It premiered in 2026 as a joint world premiere between the Almeida and The Public Theater in New York City.
