A storm beneath the Thunder Moon is both rare and powerful. My Cherokee great-grandmother believed that on this night magic happens. She neglected to mention that magic can kill.

After a freak thunderstorm, the elderly residents of Lake Bluff, Georgia begin to die. All eyes turn to the sheriff, to me, Grace McDaniel to find out why.

Ian Walker, a Cherokee doctor who blends native and traditional medicine, arrives with the Thunder Moon.  Ian hides both powerful medicine and a painful past.  Despite my mistrust of strangers, of secrecy, of magic I want to trust him.

As the creature preying on the town's residents gains strength and begins to kill not just the old but the young and healthy as well, Ian and I join together in a race to find the Cherokee legend become fact, the Raven Mocker.
