These are usually described as problems.

But what if they are also information?

In Unresolved India, Sandeep Chavan examines the unfinished systems beneath India's development and asks a different economic question:

What capability would have to exist for this problem to be resolved well?

The book does not assume that every unmet need is a market or that every problem should become a business. Instead, it distinguishes carefully between unresolved need, effective demand and viable productive opportunity.

The deeper argument is not simply about creating more firms or more jobs. It is about creating productive systems capable of resolving real requirements while leaving greater capability behind.

Workers learn. Suppliers deepen. Institutions improve. Enterprises upgrade. Districts specialise. Maintenance becomes professional. New economic pathways become credible.
