Vampires of Space

Commander John Hanson is told by a young associate that there is a new species of being discovered in space. 


The commander simply laughs and says that this isn’t news to him, though he doesn’t elaborate. Once alone, Hanson begins writing the story of a mission he was on, when he discovered this “new” species twenty years before, and their deadly tastes.
