As two wise-cracking friends (one firefighter and one paramedic), share the camaraderie of their life-saving work, they realize they have something else in common: Their vivid dreams make them witnesses to the clash of good and evil in beings that inhabited the Earth long ago.

By chance—or is it fate?—they meet a woman, a psychotherapist who specializes in the interpretation of dreams, who helps them make sense of their subconscious visions.

In her own way, she is also a seeker of truth and transcendence. Through her friendship with a Catholic priest whose research focuses on ancient texts, she discovers the deeper meaning of the intertwined narratives of the Bible, Greek mythology and Egyptian history.
