Wild Alaska

In August 2014 we took a 12 day Alaskan cruise on the Celebrity Cruises Celebrity Century sailing from Vancouver in Canada and sailing up through the Inner Passage to Alaska stopping at Ketchikan, Juneau, Icy Straight Point, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, Victoria on Vancouver Island in British Columbia and then a 3 day sail down to San Francisco in USA where we disembarked. 


This cruise covered some of the key wilderness areas in Alaska and gave us the opportunity to sample the stunning beauty of this country with majestic fjords, snow-capped mountains, glaciers, rivers, waterfalls and large expanses of native forest. There was also an abundance of wildlife to be seen throughout this trip including black bears, wolves, bald eagles, seals, porpoises, dolphins, sea otters, sea lions, whales and more.
