Descripción editorial

Lynn Hurst and Wasatch Steel, Inc. ("Wasatch"), appeal from a judgment issued by the Third Judicial District Court ruling that Wasatch converted property, entered into a civil conspiracy, and committed fraud in its dealings with Alta Industries Ltd. ("Steelco"). Steelco cross-appeals, claiming that the trial court erred in dismissing its claim for relief and for double damages under Utah's Pattern of Unlawful Activity Act (the "Act"), Utah Code Ann. §§ 76-10-1601 to -1609 (Supp. 1987), *fn1 and its claim for treble damages pursuant to Utah's receiving stolen property statute, Utah Code Ann. §§ 76-6-408 and -412. We affirm in part, reverse in part, and remand for proceedings consistent with this opinion.
