In the CHamoru language spoken by the indigenous people of Låguas (the Mariana Islands) "ayuda" means to help or assist. The Ayuda Foundation which produced this book and the middle school version of it (also available for free download) is proud to be creating awareness of culturally significant sites on Guam such as the ancient village of Litekyan (Ritidian).
