After living in Cambodia teaching English and working with a church for several months, Allison moved back to the United States and begins to process multiple major life transitions. Blogging became a saving grace as she experienced reverse culture shock while navigating the everyday struggles of life, such as moving, returning to work as a nurse, and wrestling with depression and perfectionism. 31 Days in Reentry is a raw, largely unedited record of Allison’s endeavor to move through grief, reexamine faith, and discover identity during a time of uncertainty and transition.
