In December 2009, during a three-day trip to Wollongong to visit an old Italian friend, the author relived the reasons that have led many Italians to emigrate to Australia in the years 1960-70. He ended up being involved in a spiritual balance. These are the reflections of Ignatius, the Australian friend, and the author's uncle, Peter, who lives in Melbourne.
