Three actions for damages alleged to have been caused by defendants negligence were tried together and separate verdicts in favor of each plaintiff rendered. Each plaintiff moved for a new trial as to damages only on the ground that through passion or prejudice the damages awarded were insufficient. As to one plaintiff the trial court granted a new trial as to all the issues, and as to the other plaintiffs a new trial was denied. Held:
