Descripción editorial

Adagio for Three is the first volume of the Terpsichorean Trilogy. This epoch extends for a period of almost 30 years in the lives of three ballet dancers.

Frank St. Germaine is a dynamic French Canadian man with a tragic past and incredible talent that is clouded by drugs and bad decisions. Tory Beckett is a beautiful ballerina with enough ability to gain recognition in a regional ballet company. But she lacks the resources to realize her dreams in New York. Jeremy Barlow has the talent and the lucky breaks but he sabotages himself with injuries and a reclusive personality. In spite of impossible obstacles, all three of them find a way to hold on to their aspirations to make their lives meaningful in the world of dance.

The first volume extends for the scope of two years in their lives and interweaves a complicated relationship between the three dancers that includes love, lust, jealousy and near tragedy. This is a mirror of the complicated and extremely difficult lives of ballet dancers, their triumphs, disappointments and constant struggle to make sense out of their world. The Trilogy follows them and their profession into the challenges of old age.

All the characters are fictional. Many professional dancers read this manuscript and gave input to add to the authenticity of the story. Any resemblance to individuals either living or dead is purely coincidental.
