Blot on the Landscape and Centre of Resistance: A Social and Economic History of Korsten
Descripción editorial
At the height of apartheid in South Africa, a small suburb in the city of Port Elizabeth became a thorn in the side of the government. While the country was systematically racially divided, Korsten persisted as a non-racial enclave. The story of this community and it's unique place in South African history is told through contemporary sources and the recollections of residents.
