Descripción editorial

An unbelievable, but true, riches to rags story. I know for I lived it. Okay, maybe not exactly riches in the obscene monetary sense of the word, but I had a successful business, a nice home, close friendslife was good. One day, while working on the set of a major movie production, I fell backwards off the top of some brick stairs landing on my head. That fall begat my fall from life as I knew it into an endless spiral of darkness. I lost my business, my home, my friends, my lover, etc. Of all the things I lost, I missed my mind the most.

This isnt always an easy story to read. It wasnt always an easy way to live. I often felt more dead than alive, enduring what seemed like one loss after the next. Mini-vacations in inpatient mental hospitals followed, as did way too many prescription drugs. Several times I just wanted out, but my attempts failed. I kept trying to bail myself out of the depths of rock bottom.

My intent is that this story will be of some use for those out there hurting for whatever reason.
To reassure there is hope for the hopeless; theres that one little hole of light peeking into the darkness. For light is brightest in the dark. I found it is not so much what happens to you in life, but how you react to it. I also learned that a sense of humor is crucial to survival.
