Descripción editorial

This book provides a wide range of financial investors (from beginner to advanced level) a primer to get their financial life in line while improving their physical fitness.

Just as a professional athlete doesn’t simply walk onto the playing field and perform at the highest levels, people should not dive into investing and expect to become immediately successful or rich. People need to have a basic understanding of the tools available, and develop a plan to start small and grow through knowledge, discipline and hard work.

The book is intended to be educational (but not textbook) and to provide readers with an easily digestible starting point for wherever they are in their financial lives.

About the Author

Mr. Fellows grew up wanting to be an X-wing fighter pilot ever since he saw Star Wars in 1977. Unable to identify a reasonable career path to such a position, he satisfied himself with a 22 year career in corporate finance, rising to the level of CFO before retiring in 2011. He holds a Master’s of Business Administration and is currently mid-way through his Juris Doctorate. Bored in retirement, he picked up a private pilot’s license, a boat, a motorcycle, became a volunteer fireman, and ran Ironman’s Kona ½ Triathlon to wile away the time. Mr. Fellows finally opened his own financial firm to work with the greatly underserved investor who was too small to get the attention of Wall Street professionals, and too large to benefit from the local cookie cutter wire houses. Today, Fellows Wealth Management is a family office in Irvine, California.

Mr. Levgne dreamed of being the lead singer in a rock band. Lack of appreciation for the musical abilities required to play 'air guitar' and general tone deafness made his debut performance his farewell performance at the exact same time. He always knew that he wanted to combine his passions as an educator with a love of physical fitness. After his Master’s degree Mr. Levigne taught elementary and high school physical education and coached a number of scholastic football teams in Michigan. Tired of the cold winters he relocated to sunny Southern California where he holds advanced medical and orthopedic certificates for Personal Training, continues to teach and mentor at risk high school youth, and serves as CEO of FitScripts, a company designed specifically to help those with medical conditions, integrate a work out regime applicable to their ailments.

Mr. Levigne rehabilitated Mr. Fellows’ knee after a freak golf accident, and most days they can be found together at the gym at 6:00am.
