I’m an archangel. One of the chosen. The revealer of truth, the bringer of justice, and the interpreter of the Almighty’s plan.
Until I was called to the earthen realm by a demon, and my whole world was turned upside down.
Turns out, Earth is not all sunshine and rainbows. Try a swirling vortex of chaos and depravity. I have not seen a single harp. Halos are actively frowned upon. Wings too, for that matter.
I am about to return to the celestial realm when I sense a soul in need of aid. The Almighty will have my head if I ignore the call.
I have spent time in the depths of Hell. Fought Lucifer himself to save a daughter of Seraphim. And nothing prepared me for this.

In the past twenty-four hours, I’ve gone from the laughing stock of the Other community—incapable of controlling even a lick of my power—to trapped in a government black site being tortured for secrets I don’t have. All because I got in the way of a witch’s curse.
And just as they’re about to kill me, I’m saved by an honest-to-God—yes, that God—angel. I don’t trust him. I don’t trust anyone. But he smells nice. His voice is like spun gold. And when his hair billows in the wind? Well, I’m ashamed to admit…I swoon.
But not even an angel can stop them. Because the longer he stays on Earth, the more human he becomes.
