Gaudina v. Haberman

The district judge, following a non-jury trial, entered a joint and several judgment in favor of plaintiffs-appellees Habermans against the defendants (Heritage) (Bromley) (Gaudina). The judgment awarded damages of $54,591.48 and interest computed at the rate of 6% per annum for the period of time from September 26, 1973 to February 25, 1981 ? this amounted to $24,281.49. The total award was shown as $78,873.27; however our computation indicates that it should have been for $78,872.97 ? there was a minor 30¢ error. In his - Page 161 Findings, the trial judge based recovery on the standards of duty set out in the provisions of the Uniform Securities Act of the State of Wyoming, § 17-117.1, et seq., W.S. 1957, as amended (now § 17-4-101, W.S. 1977, et seq.).
