Descripción editorial

Approximately 4,000 Alabama residents ("appellees") brought suit against more than fifty defendants, including appellant General Refractories Company ("GRC"), in an asbestos personal injury case. Claiming the trial court lacked personal jurisdiction over it, GRC filed a special appearance motion, which the trial court denied. By means of interlocutory appeal, GRC challenges the trial courts denial of that motion.
