SHACKLEFORD, C. J. -- H. C. Mashburn, having been arrested on a warrant, charging him with failing refusing to work a certain described road for the statutory period, to provide an able-bodied substitute in his place, or to pay the sum fo four dollrs in lieu thereof, as provided by statute, sued out a writ of habeas corpus.
