Hairy the Housepet

The boys awoke to the eerie sound of coyotes howling, as sunbeams danced across their room. They could hardly wait to get out on the trail. Just outside their house were wild creatures, of every size and shape roaming about freely.  They could only imagine what they might find!  This day would prove to be an adventure bigger than they ever could have imagined! They hit the door, running!  Today they’d search every underground burrow along their path. Their plan is to capture the BIGGEST, baddest, wooliest tarantula, ever born AND bring it home, to keep as “their BEST pet, yet!” Mom will be soooo surprised!! How would YOU like to join them on this “wild and wooly” adventure!?  Just turn to the map that lies right in this book!  Then follow the trail to where the “H” marks the spot! In case you haven’t guessed, that’s “H” for “Hairy,” the TAAAA-RAN-TU-LAAAA!
