What we have seen is that the power to avoid tragedy is far beyond us. No amount of wishful thinking can keep us away from being a partaker. You may work hard, prepare for a good life but unable to prepare for misfortune that drops down on you like a hot cake. Pain caused by the passing of a love one hurts beyond anything imaginable!


Who wants pain and suffering? We all will do everything in our reach to cast lot against it. Some people think otherwise. One of those is Philip Yancy.
