Descripción editorial
1 Petitioner, State Senator Mary Helm, was a candidate for election in the November 7, 1978, general election for the office of State Senator, Senate District No. 46, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. Helm was opposed in the election by Intervenor, Bernest Cain. A dispute exists over the votes cast on an improperly programmed voting machine in Ward 6, Precinct 5, of Oklahoma City.
