Descripción editorial

Barbara A. Helmick (claimant) appeals from the trial courts decision reversing the Virginia Employment Commissions (commission) award of unemployment benefits. The trial court denied Helmick unemployment benefits because she was discharged from her employment with Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation (employer) for misconduct connected with work. Helmicks appeal requires us to decide (1) whether the trial court erred in finding that Helmick was discharged from her job for misconduct connected with her work, and (2) whether the trial court erred in finding that the employer did not condone Helmicks misconduct. We find no error and affirm.
