La Dolce Disaster

An all-new YA summer romance from USA Today bestselling author Jillian Dodd.

Jules Farina has always believed the best stories begin with a little romance.

So when she arrives in the heart of Verona—the city famous for tragic love stories—she’s determined to have a holiday worthy of the movies she dreams of directing someday. Sun-drenched piazzas. Unexpected adventures. A little Roman Holiday magic. And, if she’s lucky, the kind of cinematic romance that deserves its own soundtrack.

La dolce vita, here she comes.

But things don’t go as planned. Jules’s meet-cutes keep missing, her gelato keeps melting, and every attempt to chase the perfect movie moment ends in one misstep after another. Luckily, with the help of her wise Nonna and Matteo, a charming local determined to show Jules the real Verona, she begins to see the city—and herself—in a whole new light. As Matteo leads her through hidden corners of Verona, Jules begins to wonder if she’s been so busy chasing her perfect love story that she’s missed what’s right in front of her.

In the summer of a lifetime, Jules will find a place that feels like home and a romance she never could have scripted.
