Descripción editorial

The ‘mystery of our faith’ has to do with the actualization and relevance of give and take.  In other words, we all effect the acceptance of both worker and market by the submission to manual labor as the efforts by which market eliminates worker energy and represses take just as we cause the assimilation of passive absorption by creating the expressions of market by the transient submission to entropic matters as the reality of give’s sociology.

John Patrick Acevedo has been writing and reading poetry for over 25 years.  In 2003, Gitana Press published his poem Volcanic Gravity in an anthology entitled Tuesdays that featured 31 Maryland poets.  In 2008, the Howard Community College Times published Siren Song, a poem about capitalism through Native American eyes.  Acevedo's video-poems Virginal Vixen Distinction, Lares Vines, Monarch Cries, and Bogart’s Bar Menu Brews 22 are featured on youtube.com and, in 2013, he published a spoken word 14-poem cd recording called The Mad City Coffee Reading.  His web-site synergy-press.org features his poems and an e-store.  In 2014, his gospel was introduced on youtube.com with a mini-documentary entitled Windows Into Poetry: John Patrick Acevedo, which was produced by Theologist Prince Kwasi Mensah, and his film short Holy Bible Sociology! A Journey into the Soul was published by Synergy Press in 2016.  He founded an esoteric sociology based on The Book of Job reference of 'give and take'.
