Overriding mandatory provisions in a European context

After a long and gradual process of harmonization of Private International Law in the context of the European Union through the creation of Sectoral Regulations, it is appropriate to reflect on the integration of so-called overriding mandatory provisions into the European IPD system. . The present text thus aims to make some considerations about the place of this category of norm in this system.
