People v. Reed

A father brought an action against his son, formerly an officer, director, and employee in his fathers corporation, and against two other former employees, seeking to enjoin them from continuing to operate a competing business organization. A preliminary injunction was issued by agreement of the parties and without hearing, followed by a full trial on the merits of counts alleging breach of fiduciary duty, theft of confidential information, and violation of the Illinois Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
