An abandoned people. A poisoned land. A rumour of raiders on the move again.

For Alfred, life in his forgotten village is a hard one, only enlivened by the occasional visit from the mysterious travellers and his friend, Rebecca. However, when some strange new people unexpectedly arrive, his horizon starts to expand beyond the desolate wastes of his childhood.
