Spiritual Blessings in Heavenly Realms

Ephesians 1:3-14 opens with a eulogy, a paean of praise, which the Apostle Paul utters as he anticipates the wondrous things he is about to write.

 

The Apostle calls us to praise the Father as we contemplate the blessings that are ours in Christ Jesus. Those blessing are described in the words that follow where we read that we have been “chosen”, “predestined”, “adopted as sons”, “redeemed”, “forgiven” and “marked with a seal which guarantees our inheritance”.
