Talking in Class

Increasing the Quality and Quantity of Student-to-Student Dialogue in the Classroom

Descripción editorial

This book is based on work completed by Rosch and Gray in collaboration with a project team of five teachers across multiple grade levels and subjects; five students also participated as “case study students” to get perspectives from all stakeholders in the learning process. Together, they have developed supplemental classroom activities based upon related research and the "Five Core Skills for Academic Conversation" developed by Zwiers and Crawford (2011). They have used data gathered from the team to develop this interactive book, which will be of use to any educators who are interested in enhancing their curricula with student dialogue.
