TED Presentations, Rule 05. Be concerned about the frame of the story

As a nonprofit organization based in the U.S., TED holds presentations by bringing together people from fields of Technology, Entertainment and Design. TED Conference is devoted to "Ideas Worth Spreading". By focusing and analyzing TED presentations, we seek "how to deliver inspiring presentations".

The journey that the speaker takes on with the audience is similar to the journey of modern architects. A rookie speaker learns how to establish the bone structure first and to lay the foundation, as an architect. Deciding "what to talk about", "how to deliver it" and "how to wrap it up" is the bone structure of a presentation, in other words, the frame. How do you establish a frame? Let's look at the fifth rule, "how to structure the frame of the story".
