The book is in titled There Is Something Special About Ja'avontae's Sister. This book feature my daughter, L'Liyah, and my son, Ja'avontae, who take the readers and play a game to see if they can find what is special about L'Liyah. The pictures give you clues and hint on why my daughter is special. But in writing this book, I wanted to show how being different exceptionally being a deaf child, showing that it is okay to be different. And how children with special needs are not different then other peers in their age group.
