TRAVEL NORTHERN FRANCE

Immediately after graduating from the Stanford Business School, Tom and Martha left the girls with Martha’s parents, Dorothy and Harold, and flew to Belgium to attend George Johnson’s wedding.  They joined former teacher friends for a picnic in the fields and a lunch at the Johnson farm house. From there they drove to the Normandy landing beaches and relived the Allies’ World War II invasion of France.
