As Bismarck crawls into Copernicus for repairs, the powers that be have put her and her crew in limbo. Refusing to accept that verdict, Madison decides he’s going to rebuild the ship, though it seems he and his crew have to fight their own side as hard as they fought the enemy for even the smallest concession.
There are few who see the value of a ship and her commander who won’t admit defeat. But when crews are coming back from the battle fronts as shattered as their ships, can one ship really make that much difference – especially when she’s grounded?
