Descripción editorial

This book is written from the point of view that the New Testament is a single book made up of twenty-seven  inter-related parts.  Therefore, understanding something of the whole will increase our appreciation of the individual writings.

The author’s desire is to give the reader understanding, i.e. an understanding of what the whole of the New Testament is about. With that aim in view, he gives us a guided tour through the New Testament, briefly explaining the purpose of each book in turn before giving a synopsis of its teaching.

In this way by examining the parts, the meaning of the whole becomes clearer and ... the meaning of the parts is brought more sharply into focus by understanding the whole.
