Descripción editorial
The defendant, Chul Yun Kim, has presented six assignments of error on appeal. He contends inter alia that the trial court erred by allowing the State to ask the victim a leading question during direct examination. He also asserts that it was error for the trial court to allow a police investigator to give corroborative testimony which went beyond the victims testimony at trial. The defendant further contends that it was error to permit an expert witness to testify about the truthfulness of the victim during her evaluation and treatment resulting from the crimes charged. He also argues that the trial court erred by denying his motion to dismiss at the close of all the evidence.
