She's been declared a failing debutante - much to her delight!

Kitty Hadbury has other plans for her life that do not include a husband. When she's among six other struggling belles made to attend a Christmas gathering in order to improve their marriage chances, she digs in her heels. No-one will change her mind.

War-hero Lord Stynes, who reluctantly agrees to assist the debutantes, must ensure Kitty accepts a proposal before the end of the season or risk losing his estate. The easiest plan would be for him to propose. The trouble is, she's totally unsuitable as a wife and he's on the brink of ruin.
