Ella Flare goes where the forest sends her. So far, she's survived.

When the forest leads Ella and her wolf companion to Jack, a girl who traded her cow for magic beans and is now in very serious trouble, Ella does what she always does.

She helps.

That's how Ella and Wolfie end up above the clouds, inside a giant's castle, surrounded by frozen men who were once just as certain they'd find their way home.

Now the giants are hunting them, Jack is depending on them, and the way back to the forest is a very long way down.
