Early Childhood Language Development

This book supports the first module in the 3-credit course Language Development and Early Literacy.  You will read about typical and atypical language development, as well as. the factors that influence that development.  You will discover the genetic and physiological components of optimal language and literacy development. When you complete the assignment for the module, you will plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and instructional materials.
