Jessica Nolan wants a new life. Wolf Taylor wants his old life back. And Brett Stone doesn't care who's life he takes over, as long as he's in the spotlight.

Jessica is done with waitressing in a small town diner. There has to be more to life than flipping burgers and staring at the clock. Career aspirations and romance are far beyond her reach in Snake Creek, Nevada. She wants to seek success in Los Angeles and track down the mother who abandoned her years ago. She'd also like to see her favourite rock band, Sapphic, live in concert in LA, but hype died about them after their lead singer, Wolf Taylor, suffered a serious fall from a hotel balcony two years ago.

Much to Wolf's chagrin, his record company just signed Brett Stone, a dirty-blond rebel with an eye for the ladies. Wolf wants Sapphic back at the top of the charts where they belong, but the label are all about Brett, Brett, Brett.

This is war and both performers are determined to be the victor at any cost. Jessica finds more excitement than she bargained for when she finds herself caught in the middle.
