Malice, le chien abandonné / Malice, the abandoned dog

Au coeur de la nuit, alors qu’il pensait qu’il allait mourir là, Malice le chien vit des lumières qui s’approchaient de lui en vacillant. Elles se firent toute proches et on entendit la voix d’un chien dans l’obscurité :
- Chef, un camarade ! Là !
Le faisceau d’une puissante lampe torche vint se poser sur le nez de Malice et un chien, vêtu d’un treillis de combat avec trois étoiles sur la poitrine, lui adressa la parole…
Un frisson parcourut l’échine de Malice… Qu’allait-il devenir ?

In the heart of night, as he was thinking he was going to die there, Malice the dog saw some lights flickering towards him. They drew quite near and the voice of a dog was heard in the dark :
- Captain ! A comrade ! Here !
The beam of a powerful lamp came to land on Malice’s nose and a dog, clad in a combat uniform with three stars on his chest addressed him…
A sudden shiver ran through Malice… What was going to happen to him ?
