Mandy's adventures begin with a beach gift shop and a stolen brooch her ex-fiancée can't pronounce, and quickly expand to include a dance studio, a mysterious desert grave, the secret treasure hidden in a junk store and the strange intruder invading a million-dollar house overlooking a canyon.  And a new boyfriend whose job as an FBI agent keeps him 150 miles away in Los Angeles.  Mandy has her hands full, but like her quasi-namesake, Nancy Drew, she's loving every minute!
