Mother Somalia-Stories of Hope is a collection of fictitious stories. Each story captures tragic conditions experienced by Somali people as a result of Somalias civil war followed by the countrys disintegration. These stories unlock harsh situations under which Somalis had lived and suffered. All characters in the stories portray Somali people, struggling with heartbreaking situations. The settings range from Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti, India and Canada. But arising from these tragedies are ideas of hope and resiliencies.
