Descripción editorial

Nancy Brown… the lone daughter of a peasant plumber, is a new student at Saddle University College in the heart of London. She is a girl who had never had friends, nor close pals or buddies but is always in her own corner, reading or studying at the laboratory.
Everybody hates her, so much such that the girls in the cheerleading team give her a nickname ‘stinky Nancy’.
Nancy on the other hand begins to notice the way the basketball captain, Caldwell Brains looked at her and this begins to have an effect on her to the extent that she starts daydreaming about them being together. She suffers from such illusions until one day when she decides to change her looks just to impress him but then it happens that he is not impressed with the change and it teaches her a vital lesson.
The story is about teaching everyone about lessons of life that one must not change to impress, allow people like you the way you are and nothing more.
