Saltines and Stuffed Bears

A saltine cracker, a stuffed teddy bear, a cell phone, a video game, a pastry shop and a tornado; what do all these things have in common; a lesson God wants to share with you. Really? Sound like nonsense?


 A few years ago, the Holy Spirit began speaking to Brent giving him interesting spiritual object lessons from everyday occurrences.


In his book Saltines and Stuffed Bears, author Brent Smith utilizes his walk with God in short stories, allowing the Holy Spirit to transform the things we experience on a daily basis; the abstract, the routine, and the mundane;  into an uncommon lesson from God’s Word that will open your eyes and give you a new perspective. Brent has been walking with the Lord for over thirty years and has a lot to say about the joys and struggles of life.
